The Reverend Mr. Mark Winger retired on Oct 31, 2025, after a distinguished career serving congregations in Saskatchewan and Ontario. As of November first, the congregation is conducting a search for a new full time accountable minister. In the meantime, we are worshipping under the leadership of a variety of individuals and teams, including dedicated and experienced lay people. We are delighted also have obtained the services of a retired experienced pastor from the United Methodist Church (New Jersey) who is leading some of our worship over the coming weeks. She brings a rich tradition of having lived in Jamaica, Toronto and various US cities and having served as a congregational minister and at higher levels in the UMC. We are also supported by a Pastoral Charge Supervisor appointed by the United Church to assist us with United Church official matters. We continue to live in a shared ministry agreement with our friends from Pioneer Memorial United Church who are sharing the search process with us. Worship is being conducted with both congregations together in one or the other of the congregations’ sites on a monthly rotation.
